Wild Opening Day for Season 32
Article By: As we open the season yesterday for the NDL little was to be expected but we got a whole lot of surprises.
Starting with the biggest upset of block 1 Number 21 North Carolina goes into Provo, Utah and comes out with a L in a shootout 49-42. The Tar Heels committed 7 turnovers (2 fumbles and 5 interceptions) but out gained the cougars by 443 on offense wow that’s a stat for you.
We also had a G5 favorite in James Madison go down against Hawaii 31-27. This destroys any chance of a playoff berth for James Madison.
We also had a lot of close games as 9 games were one score victories as it came down to the wire with Indiana pulling a victory from the jaws of defeat with a td with 15 seconds left to beat San Diego State. Washington loss in overtime to Fresno State. Central Michigan needed a defensive stop to hold off South Alabama. New Mexico and Louisiana Tech also had 7 point victories as well.
Overall a very good day 1 of season 32 in the NDL. Day 2 has
Wisconsin vs North Carolina
Indiana vs Utah
Georgia vs Michigan
As well as defending champion LSU as they take on Kansas State.
Hopefully with this stack card full of games today they can live up to the day we had yesterday for day 1.
