B1G Pre-Season Conference Rankings

18. Purdue
Coached by Coach Outlaw.
He has been here since Season 2 and has a career record of 263-121.
He has struggled since his return in S29 with Colorado he went 3-9 (2-7) and in S30 at Middle Tennessee he went 6-7 (5-3).
This season will not be any better for the veteran coach as he has games against Washington State (Coach Liq), #11 Notre Dame (Coach Reign) and then Conference games against #20 Nebraska, #9 Oregon, #16 Ohio State and #15 Penn State.

17. Rutgers
Coached by Coach Beercop.
He has been here since Season 4 and has a career record of 72-194.
S29 he went 1-11 with Georgia State and S30 he went 0-12 with Mississippi State.
Unfortunately, this season does not get any easier as they have games against Kansas State (Coach TexaNole), Old Dominion (Coach Marion), East Carolina (Coach Packsy) and then ranked against #20 Nebraska in conference play.

16. UCLA
Coached by Coach Vic.
He has been in the NDL for the last 2 seasons.
S30 he went 5-8 (3-4) with the San Jose State Spartans.
He will find out that the B1G is no easier as he has games against #8 Colorado (Coach Dcanady1), #9 Oregon, #15 Penn State, #20 Nebraska, and #10 Iowa and he also has an OOC against CAL (Coach Marine) which will be a very interesting matchup.

15. Maryland
Coached by Coach TEEwade.
He has been in the NDL since Season 16 and has a career record of 83-80.
He went 9-4 (7-3) with Arizona last season in S30 and 8-5 (6-2) with Eastern Michigan in S29.
Their OOC games are a little weaker against Tulane (Coach sammy), KEnt State (Coach Kool-aid) and Wake Forest (Coach Dray), and then they have games against #9 Oregon, #10 Iowa and #15 Penn State.
I think he will finish right around .500 on the season.

14. Northwestern
Coached by Coach bradysenior.
He has been here for 1 full season going 7-6 (5-4) last year in S30 with the Maryland Terrapins.
He has OOC against #13 UCF (Coach Smitty), Missouri (Coach Klawdog), #18 Louisville (Coach Mjkemp) and then conference matchups against #10 Iowa, #16 Ohio State and #23 Michigan.
This is one team that could surprise a lot of people or fall and be lucky to hit the .500 mark.
Will be interesting to see what kind of results coach brady can put together in S31.

13. Washington
Coached by Coach dub6582.
He has been in the NDL for the past 2 seasons.
He went 9-4 (7-2) with Purde in S29 and in S30 with Washington went 8-5 (5-4).
Washington has a few matchups that will make it harder for them to reach the .500 mark.
They have an OOC against Sane Jose State (Coach taruncheel), #13 UCF (Smitty), Washington State (Coach Liq) in a rivalry game, then in Conference play, they have games against ranked opponents of #23 Michigan, #10 Iowa, #15 Penn State and #9 Oregon.

12. Indiana
Coached by Coach Phoney.
He has been in the NDL for the last 2 seasons, both with the Liberty Flames.
S29 he went 11-3 (8-1) and in S30 he went 8-6 (8-1).
He has some tough games on his schedule playing against East Carolina (Coach Packsy), #21 San Diego STate (Coach BigZZ), #20 Nebraska, #23 Michigan, and #16 Ohio State.
What type of season can he muster up for the Hoosiers of Indiana?

11. USC
Coached by Coach beNgreedy.
He has been in the NDL for the last 2 seasons and last year went 6-7 at Charlotte.
He has scheduled an OOC of Vanderbilt (Coach .doof), Arizona (Coach Korgen), and #11 Notre Dame (Coach Reign) in a Rivalry game.
Does he have what it takes to make USC a contender?

10. Illinois
Coached by Coach Doodee who has a career record of 169-97.
He had a 6-7 season last year at Rice and finds himself at the helm of the Fighting Illinois this season.
He has a tough road ahead with games against Boston College (Coach Victim), #20 Nebraska, #15 Penn State, #23 Michigan and #9 Oregon.
We will see what type of results he can produce with this new team for S31.

9. Michigan State
Coached by Coach fsupenguin. He has been here since Season 1 and has a career record of 282-184.
His last 2 seasons in the NDL were not as fortunate for him as he went 6-7 (4-3) with North Texas in S29 and in S30 at Ole Miss he went 4-8 (3-5).
He has OOC games against East Carolina (Coach Packsy), Stanford (Coach Ninjanano) and IMASS (Coach uf), and has games against #16 Ohio State, #9 Oregon, #10 Iowa, and #23 Michigan in conference play.
I see him rebounding slightly and going just over .500 on the season.

8. Minnesota
Coached by Coach Mallen.
Last year was his first in the NDL and he went 8-5 (6-2) with Ohio.
He finds himself at the helm of the Golden Gophers and I look for him to surprise a few people, however, he has a tough road ahead with games against #14 Clemson (Coach Eljefe), BYU (Coach BruisedBagel), #10 Iowa, #23 Michigan, and #15 Penn State.
It will be very interesting to see how this real life football coach translates that knowledge to the digital gridiron!

7. Wisconsin
Coached by Coach RB4SC22 who has been here since Season 16 and has a career record of 111-116.
He returns after going 8-5 (6-3) last season.
He has games against #24 Kansas, #15 Penn State, #10 Iowa, #9 Oregon, and #20 Nebraska.
Can he do enough in conference play to compete at the top?
Will scheduling Kansas, Missouri and NC State in OOC help him or hurt him? That remains to be seen!

6. Michigan
Ranked #23 in the Pre-Season polls
Coached by Coach Phreakk who has been here since Season 22 and has a career record of 75-67.
He returns in S31 after going 8-5 (6-3) in S30 and going 10-3 (7-2) in S29.
He is going for it all this season with his OOC scheduling.
He scheduled #11 Notre Dame (Coach Reign) and #8 Colorado (Coach Dcanady1) in his first 2 weeks of the Season. This is going to make or break his season right off the rip. He then scheduled #25 Virginia Tech (Coach VT) in Week 12.
Will he be able to win enough conference games outside of that to potentially play for the B1G?

5. Penn State
Ranked #15 in the Pre-Season polls
Coached by Coach Niddler who has been here since Season 18 and has a career record of 108-94.
He returns in S31 after having a successful S30 going 10-3 (8-1).
He scheduled a little tougher OOC this year in A&M (Coach 6) and Boise State (CoachiRocca) so we will see if he can win some of the bigger games or if he is destined for averageness and back to the middle leagues!

4. Ohio State
Ranked #16 in the Pre-Season polls
Coached by Coach Seeit who has been here since Season 4 and has a career record of 254-144.
In S29, he finished with a 13-2 (9-1) record. He returned in S30 to finish with a 10-3 (6-3) record.
He returns in S31 and this season will be a good test for him.
I feel like this will be his make it or break it year at OSU.
He has games against #10 Iowa, #9 Oregon, #20 Nebraska, #15 Penn State and #23 Michigan.
We will see if he can get the Buckeyes back to the B1G Championship game!

3. Nebraska
Ranked #20 in the Pre-Season polls
Coached by Coach MGR who was with Memphis each of his first 2 seasons back in the NDL and finished 11-3 (8-1) both seasons with them.
This is his 4th time at the helm of the Cornhuskers during his NDL Career and he has been here since Season 1.
He has a 280-172 career NDL record and He is going for it with his OOC scheduling as he will face #2 Oklahoma in Week 1 and #11 Notre Dame in Week 2.
His season could be told after the first week of the NDL opens.
Once he gets past the OOC weeks, I look for him to add more to the win column this season as he has seen success in each of his past Nebraska seasons.
I look for him to surprise a lot of teams this season and be in the running for the B1G Championship!

2. Oregon Ducks
Ranked #9 in the Pre-Season polls
Coached by Coach Shel who has been in the NDL since Season 3 and has a career record of 337-108.
Don't fall victim to his whining about how he has lost it and he is past his prime BS! He went 11-3 with WV and took them to the CFP in his first season back in S29 and then last season he went 11-2 (7-2) with the Ducks.
He returns in S31 and looks to redeem the Ducks and get to the B1G Championship!

1. Iowa Hawkeyes
Ranked #10 in the Pre-Season polls
Coached by Coach Wildes returning to the Hawkeyes after his first 2 seasons in the NDL and a very successful Season 30.
He went 9-4 (6-3) in Season 29 and returned to go 12-2 (10-0) in Season 30.
No reason to believe that he does not repeat the same success he had last season and play for the B1G championship again!

Good luck to all the coaches this season!
