The race to secure a spot in the ACC Championship Game seems to tighten up each week. Several teams are still alive while other teams will look to play spoiler. Lets take a look some key matchups that are on the horizon
WK 11 Georgia Tech @ Miami
Both teams are 4-1 in conference play. The Canes are coming off a loss to Rival FSU while Tech lost a heartbreaker against the Hokies. Both squads are battle tested to the least . Miami however appears to have the better defense and playing at home should benefit them in this one.
Prediction - Miami 31 Ga Tech 27
WK 12 SMU @ Boston College
Another stellar matchup with two teams that each have one conference loss. The Mustangs have been in every game so far and could very easily be undefeated. Boston College has proven to be a tough out regardless who he is playing and a win here along with easier slate of conference games remaining could land him in the Championship game.
Prediction- Boston College 24 SMU 23
Other matchups to watch:
Wake @ Cal- two longtime vets doing battle in this one and yet another matchup featuring teams with only one loss in conference play. Wake seems to be struggling though while Cal seems to be finding its rhythm.

NC State @ Duke- The Wolfpack are 4-1 in conference play while the Blue Devils are 2-3. Both teams have quality wins under the belt and this matchup should feature a ton of points.
Prediction- Duke 45 NC State 42
Va Tech @ Clemson- Great coaching matchup here . Clemson is out of contention but has a chance to spoil the Hokies quest of making the title game. This one should be a throw back on how the NDL used to be played featuring huge defensive plays.
Prediction- Hokies 21 Clemson 20
