Mountain West and PAC 12 Block 3 Review

Mountain West Conference:

San José State Spartans

Coach Vic and the Spartans lost a hard-fought game 28-21 to Wazzu and their new coach as a makeup in Week 4. They had a bye in Week 5, and In Week 6, the Spartans went to Reno and beat the Nevada Wolfpack 35-18.

Wyoming Cowboys

Coach Liq and the Pokes won a tight game in Colorado Springs vs the Air Force Falcons, 28-21.

New Mexico Lobos

Sammy and the Lobos have been unable to schedule their Week 5 rivalry game vs New Mexico State and look to keep their record unblemished in the battle for the Maloof Trophy. The Lobos are on a bye in Week 6.

San Diego State Aztecs

Coach BigZ and SDSU kept the undefeated season alive by traveling to the islands and beating Chee Pono 35-27 in Week 6. The Aztecs were on a bye in Week 5.

Colorado State Rams

Coach Korben_Dallas7 and the Colorado State Rams had arguably the best block of the conference. The Rams beat Liberty 28-21 at home in Week 5 and followed that performance up with a victory against Oregon State 35-30 in Week 6.

Fresno State Bulldogs

Fresno State and JustGiver31 are still looking to play their Week 5 matchup against UNLV and they went to Houston to beat the Rice Owls 28-20 in Week 6.

UNLV Rebels

Commish MCounty had placed a Silver Alert on UNLV and their coach Black Rain. However, The Niddler has assured that Coach Rain and the Rebels will be diving head first into their season shortly and for the rest of the conference not to worry.

Utah State Aggies

Coach Wave and Utah State had a bye week in week 5 and have yet to play Coach Roc and the Boise State Broncos in Week 6.

Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors

Chee Pono and jeffdaddy12 had a great showing in Toledo against mtwasik and the Rockets. The Warriors won 52-28. Hawai’i then lost to undefeated SDSU 35-27 in week 6.

Nevada Wolf Pack

UncleLbo and Nevada had a rough block, losing to Coastal Carolina in Week 5 38-15 and then losing to San José State om Week 6, 35-18.

Boise State Broncos

Boise State and Coach Roc have insisted on running Jeanty til his legs fall off, recording a win in Pulman against Wazzu 42-23 in Week 5. The Broncos have yet to play their Week 6 matchup at Utah State.

Air Force Falcons

ICE and Air Force hung tough against a solid Wyoming squad in week 5, losing 28-21. They have yet to schedule their Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy matchup with Navy for Week 6.

Pac 12 Conference:

Oregon State Beavers:

The Beavers and coach UnTouchable8 have yet to schedule their Week 5 matchup against thatdude and Ball State in Week 5. They lost a close game to Colorado State 35-30 in Week 6.

Washington State Cougars:

Wazzu and new coach Triplesteezed made up some games after taking over the Cougs. They beat San José State in Week 4 28-21 and then got Jeanty’d in Week 5 42-23.

Players of the Week Mountain West & Pac 12:


Offensive Player of Week 5:

Although Ashton Jeanty had another incredible week rushing for over 170 and 3TDs. Hawai’i QB Brayden Schager wins the Player of the Week with another incredible performance going 26/39 for 419 Yards, 4 TDs, and 0 INTs against Toledo.



Defensive Player of Week 5:

Commish County’s distant cousin, Boise State CB A'Marion McCoy takes the Player of the Week with a 6 tackle, 2 INT performance against Wazzu.



Special Teams Player of Week 5:

Hawai’I K Kansei Matsuzawa wins the Special Teams Plater of the Week going 1 for 1 on FGs and 7 for 7 on XPs.



Offensive Player of Week 6:

Fresno State RB Malik Sherrod gets another player of the week, rushing for 156 yards and 2 TDs on 30 carries in a win over Rice.



Defensive Player of Week 6:

Colorado State LB Buom Jock was everywhere for the Rams in their victory vs. Oregon State. Racking up 10 Tackles, 3 TFL, and recording a sack. He is your Defensive Player of the Week.



Special Teams Player of Week 6:

Oregon State P Josh Green wins the Special Teams Player of the Week with 3 Punts for 171 yards, 2 inside the 20, with an average of 57 yards per punt.
