NDL Season 2 War Ready

Article By: GarviNole

As we return for the second season of the NDL league, the Tennessee Volunteers football program is fired up to build on last year’s success. In the inaugural season under head coach Garvin, Tennessee made an impressive run to the College Football Playoffs, and this year, the Vols are out to prove that they belong among the nation’s elite once again.

A new tradition has taken hold at Neyland Stadium—Tennessee students and fans lighting up cigars, branded as "VolieStogies," whenever the Vols are winning. This new fan ritual has even sparked a stock market sensation, as Tennessee freshmen have taken ownership of the brand, launching it into financial success with plans to introduce a Tennessee-themed currency for their supporters.

While Tennessee’s Week 1 game against West Virginia was postponed due to the Mountaineers’ coaching staff’s unpreparedness in the wake of Hurricane Milton, the Volunteers came out strong in Week 2, edging out a tough UCF squad in a thrilling home opener. With West Virginia, Akron, and Oklahoma looming on the schedule, Tennessee is ready to continue making waves in the NDL league and build their case for another playoff push.
