Minnesota ready to kick off the season

The Golden Gophers are looking forward to the start of the season. They have played two games in the BEEFY Cup and are surprisingly 2-0. If only this would carry over into the regular season!

Minnesota plays host to Wyoming in the first week and to Marshall in Week 2. These games will set the tone for the season. Both games will be a challenge and with it being at the beginning of the season, Coach Taruncheel will need to figure out a game plan to ensure success. "I am not going to lie, the beginning of the season is hard to prep for defensively. Is the team a running team? Are they going to pass all game long? Does the team run the option? All of these things and more will need to be considered before we hit the field. Our defense has some holes and we need to make sure that they are not evident during the game," Coach Taruncheel commented.

What will the team do? Find out in the next few days! All I know is that football season is back!
