Coach Dub Heads Home to Seattle

Article By: dub6582

After a 9-4 season with the Purdue Boilermakers, coach Dub has accepted the head coaching job for the Washington Huskies in season 30 of the NDL.

"I am thankful for the opportunity I was given at Purdue, and am proud of everything we were able to accomplish."

A lifelong fan and alumni, it was no secret that Dub would be heavily interested in being the head man for the Huskies. The feeling was mutual. When it was announced that the position would be open, coach Dub was on the first flight to Seattle.

"Growing up in the pacific northwest, coaching for the Huskies has always been my dream. When you have the opportunity to come home, you take it. I know we have the ability to do some special things here. I intend to stay here long term and have this team compete for championships."
