*(#) = average vote received for projected finish. Use this to "fuel the fire" and prove 'em wrong!
16) Houston (13.85) - Coach Yragha (Houston 3-9) Expectations are low in Houston and that's exactly what Coach Yragha wants. Pulling off upsets will be tough this season with a loaded slate of coaches throughout the conference. But with expectations being low there's nothing to lose.
15) Arizona State (13.07) - Coach priest19 (Akron 3-9) Despite a 3-9 finish to last season, Coach priest19 was able to upgrade during the off season and will now have to lead a team that made it to the Big XII championship game last season. No one in the conference appears to expect that to happen.
14) BYU (11.92) - Coach TheBrusiedBagel (Louisiana 2-10) Entering his second season, TBB will see if he can help keep BYU in the race for the CC or at least a bowl game. Make no mistake, it will not be an easy task this season.
13) TCU (10.46) - Coach srgtzt (South Alabama 9-4) Another Sun Belt implant. Last seasons Horned Frogs got off to a slow start but finished strong. I suspect this season’s team won't have that same problem but may find the schedule a bit different than what he faced last year.
12) Texas Tech (10.38) - Coach AUChase89 (Troy 6-7) It's almost as if all the Sun Belt boys decided to pack up and move to the Big XII. Many of these guys will be familiar with each other’s game. They'll need to translate that knowledge to the playing field if they have any hope of surviving.
11) Oklahoma State (10.08) - Coach uf83198 (Illinois 4-8) Left the Big 10 for possibly greener pastures in the Big XII. The Cowboys have some solid pieces, but will he be able to translate that to success on the digital playing field?
10) UCF (9.84) - Coach dpad3107 (Duke 6-7) Made a mid tier team respectable in the ACC and was rewarded with a trip to a bowl game and then the Big XII. With the coaches he'll be facing this season that may be difficult to repeat.
9) West Virginia (9.62) - Coach bergerkingcle (Kent State 9-4) Similar to the Sun Belt, one of four coaches moving from the MAC. Big shoes to fill with a team that made it to the second round of the CFP.
8) Arizona (9.46) - Coach TEEWade (Eastern Michigan 8-5) Takes over a solid team with a lot of fun pieces. Navigating this conference will be a challenge for anyone but this team has the ability to impress.
7) Kansas State (9.08)- Coach bearass (Kansas State 6-7) Returning coach that started off slow last season before finding his groove. Made it to a bowl game and now wants to prove he belongs at the top of the conference.
6) Cincinnati (7.85)- Coach Mjkemp15 (UTEP 9-0) Replacement coach, that I personally wish had waited one more game but I digress, who came in and ran through CUSA winning the CC and his bowl game. I feel this ranking is a bit low and he'll definitely be out to prove you guys wrong.
5) Iowa State (6.38)- Coach Smitty229 (Toledo 12-1) Another very impressive coach that will most likely feel slighted by not being voted higher. Glad that is your all's problem and not mine!
4) Baylor (5.5) - Coach VegasXXii (Bowling Green 11-3) We're getting into the top echelon of the vote getters now. Could have been higher but I suspect a few people didn't recognize the name and voted a tad lower than you'd expect.
3) Utah (4.15) – Coach PacksyD (Middle Tennessee 8-5) Received three 2nd place votes and will be a tough team to contend with. But quite honestly there doesn't appear to be any lack of great coaching in this conference.
2) Colorado (3.38) - Coach Dcanady1 (Ball State 11-3) Colorado was a highly inefficient team last season. I suspect Dcanady will get that turned around. The potential is there and with a coach of his capabilities the skies the limit. The only team to receive a 1st place vote not named Kansas.
1) Kansas (1.07) - Coach Jiggy Jrod (Kansas 15-1) Needs no intro. You know who he is. But what you really need to know is how to beat him. Everyone will be watching closely and rooting against him.
