It's been a long time coming, about 15 years to be precise, but Coach RB is finally home. Literally.
There was strong inclinations that RB was going to stay at UCF for another season to redeem himself for what was a poor end of the year, but at the 11th hour he decided it was time to move on because there was a chance he'd end up at UW.
A born and raised Wisconsinite, RB is home and excited to lead the Badgers. "This is the first time in my 14th NDL season that I am with a team that actually means something to me. I did grow up a ND fan, but my family is all Badgers and it means a lot for me to come home and lead this program."
It will be no easy task as the Big 10 brings back some great coaches at Rutgers, Iowa, Ohio State and Michigan to name a few, along with a ton of veterans who are hungry for a bounce back in Season 30.
When asked what he's most excited for, Coach RB replied. "That Defense". As it has been a pain point of his at UCF and other stops. "It was a risk leaving a solid UCF team who is poised for a great season, but it paid off handsomely as I am somewhere I truly want to be"
