Minnesota hires Coach Taruncheel

Coach Taruncheel is moving north to the Twin Cities. After a tough season at ULM, Minnesota reached out and offered the coach a deal he could not refuse. When asked why Minnesota would want Coach Taruncheel, here was the reply. "Coach Taruncheel had a tough job at ULM and made them competitive in a lot of games. This was with talent inferior to our players. The university feels that his coaching and our players will be a perfect match!"

Coach Taruncheel was happy with the offer and readily accepted. "I know the university and the state of Minnesota wants a winning team. I will do my best in my first season to give them what they want. It definitely won't be easy, but I feel that it will be a great season. I am excited to meet the players and see what we can do together. I expect hard work and dedication to our winning mission. I want to thank ULM for the opportunity last season and wish them the best."
