Phreakk is officially on the Hot Seat

The UM Athletic Director advised Coach Phreakk that he was nearly fired despite a successful season at the University of Michigan. Phreakk had missed his win goal by one game. He blames 4th quarter collapses to University of Tennessee and Illinois. Phreakk, saved his season with a win over Arizon State in the Texas Bowl.

Phreakk has opted to stay at Michigan in hopes for a better season, however, he was advised that his offensive ratings have plummeted. He said, "We know it's an uphill battle and a land of mystery awaiting to see which new coaches land in the B1G 10 this season". Michigan will not look ahead in the schedule and will take their season one game at a time.

Lastly, Michigan has changed the name of the Ohio State Game from The Big Game to The Battle of Dan's.
