1) Kansas Jayhawks 4-0 (2-0) Jiggy Jrod - We can no longer deny the greatness of Kansas. The Jayhawks have faced every opponent in unfriendly confines and continues to dominate. Look for Kansas to be a big mover in the Top 25 poll this week as well. Has only allowed 63 total points against!
2) Baylor Bears 5-0 (3-0) Dopesoap023 - Legitimate claim for the #1 spot. Honestly this is probably more of a 1A and 1B for the Bears. If Baylor is not located in the Top 25 this week they have absolutely been robbed. Leads the conference in scoring.
3) Cincinnati Bearcats 4-0 (2-0) ShadyNasty - Another tough team in a loaded conference. The Bearcats hold steady at the 3 spot. They have a tough block ahead of them with UCF and Arizona State up next.
4) UCF Knights 4-1 (2-0) RB4S22 - Finally knocked off the 1 spot and could easily be put in at #3. Their lone loss so far is out of conference which makes them hard to knock down in the power rankings here. The game vs. Cincy will show us this week if I moved them to far.
5) West Virginia Mountaineers 4-1 (1-1) shel311 - A loss to the Jayhawks and narrowly escaping The Thundering Herd... shel then took his frustration out on Okie State to show he is still a contender for the Big XII crown. Leads the conference in total offense.
6) Utah Utes 3-2 (2-1) Dakshdar - Took down Arizona but then suffered a loss at Cincy. Next up is a struggling Arizona State and winless TCU. Might be too early to say it, but feels like these are two must win games to keep up with the top five on this list.
7) BYU Cougars 3-2 (1-1) TSTEPANEK - Took down a struggling KSU but then lost big to Baylor. The loss was followed up with a shoot out vs New Mexico State. Still a lot of very winnable games on the schedule, will BYU be able to take advantage?
8) Texas Tech Red Raiders 1-1 (0-0) buckeye76 - We still don't know much about this team with several unplayed games. But, by virtue of an unblemished conference record, we'll put them here. Despite only having played two games, leads the conference in first downs.
9) Arizona State Sun Devils 1-2 (0-1) VTrunNgun - Maybe it's nostalgia, but I keep thinking this coach will have his team primed and ready to go any time now. I don't believe they'll win the conference, but they'll still put a big scare in the leaders.
10) Colorado Buffaloes 1-3 (0-2) outlaw - The record looks ugly, but it's been a tough opening schedule. Early losses to UCF and Baylor have them low in the standings but this is a tough team and should be able to climb back up the rankings.
11) Arizona 2-2 (0-1) razorback44 - A bit behind the curve right now, but some winnable games coming up before a showdown with West Virginia.
12) Kansas State Wildcats 1-3 (1-1) bearass - Struggling, but has picked up a conference win. It's a really tough road ahead though. Could be looking at a hard drop if they don't get it figured out soon.
13) Iowa State Cyclones 2-2 (0-1) Jrembold - A conference loss against Baylor is almost a guarantee for every team in the Big XII. And unfortunately, next up are UCF and West Virginia...
14) Houston Cougars 2-2 (0-1) Yragha - Gets Iowa State and TCU this week. The easy part of Houston's schedule is now. Will they capitalize?
15) TCU Horned Frogs 0-3 (0-1) narcanman - Coin flip between TCU and Okie State for last place. It has been an extremely tough opening schedule for TCU with all 3 of their losses coming against ranked teams. If there is good news, it's still early and plenty of time to turn it around.
16) Oklahoma State Cowboys 1-3 (0-3) practicesafesacks - Looking at the schedule.... well, he still has the best name in the NDL.
