Tulsa Undefeated in Beefy Cup Pool #7

Despite a 3-3 record in the regular season, Tulsa and Coach County finished 3-0 in Beefy Cup Group play.

One win at home vs. Wyoming and two wins on the road against Utah and Western Michigan have the Golden Hurricane moving on to the round of 64. The Tulsa defense has played incredibly in the Beefy Cup which has Coach County thinking they can address the defensive woes that have plagued them all season. They outscored opponents 115 - 57 in the group.

With one Beefy Cup under his belt, way back when he was the coach of the Miami Hurricanes in Season 4, Coach County knows his Tulsa boys are a longshot in this years tourney. However, a Sweet 16 birth would be considered an over-accomplishment, but that is what the Golden Hurricane are aiming for at the minimum.
