It seems the Orangemen, with their eyes on the upcoming clash with Tennessee, may have overlooked Coach Randawg's Rice squad—a mistake that nearly cost them.

Rice's offense came out firing, racking up an impressive 535 total yards and exposing some vulnerabilities in Syracuse's defense. While the Orangemen managed to pull out a win, it was a clear wake-up call. This close call will likely be the last time Coach TexaNole underestimates an opponent.
