Pool 17 belongs to BGSU!

After a barnburner in Raleigh, Coach Vegas and his Falcons were able to sweep Pool 17 round robin group play moving to 3-0.

Highlights of the group that really stood out were that BGSU will not have any problems moving the ball, that they will be able to force some turnovers, but also that they can't stop anyone from doing anything. The only defense that the Falcons were able to muster was their ability to get some turnovers. BGSU defense is lacking speed and size in just about every position, so game in and game out it is going to come down to who wins the turnover battle.

Offensively, QB Connor Bazelek continues to shine in the Falcons uniform, and despite a slower start to the NDL season TE Harold Fannin Jr, has been very effective in pool play and he has also been passionate about wanting to be more involved offensively.

BGSU looks forward to the KO round and maybe they can puill off an upset or two to make this season count somewhere
