The Wolverines open B1G Ten play with a Victory over USC 38-21. This game was a battle of the defenses as the Trojans defense held Wolverine's ground game to under 100 yards for the day and Two early Interceptions. At the end of the 1st quarter, USC led 14-3 at the end of the 1st quarter with a great passing attack.

If you were to name an MVP to this Week 4 game it would be Michigan's Defense. They forced 6 interceptions and gave the offense excellent field position. Alex Orji found his momentum after being benched during the Beefy Cup, throwing for 277 yards, 2 touchdowns in the air and another on the ground. Tyler Morris (105 yards) and Frederick Moore (69 yards) led the team with 5 receptions each.
