Article By: After a 19-year hiatus from coaching virtual college football, Coach County returns to where he last held a virtual clipboard, the University of Tulsa. A little bit wiser and lil less brash, Coach County is looking to recreate the magic he mustered those many moons ago.
Tulsa is led by a solid WR core, with undersized stud Kamdyn Benjamin, slated to play the slot. He will be flanked by speed demon Braylin Presley, and the tall, rangy, and athletic Jeremiah Ballard
Despite the talent at receiver, the Golden Hurricane offense will live and die in the backfield. Anthony Watkins looks to receive a majority of the touches as Coach County will look to get him involved in the passing game quite often. Coach mentioned that spell back Bill Jackson has looked fantastic in training camp and will likely see a decent amount of work when Watkins is off the field.
The question at quarterback has been answered with sophomore Cardale Williams beating out highly touted freshman Kirk Francis for the starting nod. Coach County mentioned the athletic qualities that Williams brings to the table as the key component to his receiving the starting nod.
While the defense is still a question, Coach promises that the defensive line will be its strength.
A tough game Week 1 in Norman awaits the Golden Hurricane and while a win may be out of the question, Coach County has been known to create mountains out of molehills and find talent where others could not.
