In the Beefy NDL Cup Pool #6 opener at Florida State, the Cardinal defensive seemed to be unfazed by the harsh atmosphere, causing 8 turnovers, all through interceptions. MLB TJ Quinn and CB Quincy Riley both took an interception back for a TD, helping seal this game.
To note as well, three Cardinals defenders had multiple interceptions: FS Devin Neal leading with 3, then Quinn and Riley both having 2 a piece. SS MJ Griffin also had an INT.
The offense struggled. with Shrough throwing 4 interceptions of his own, being frazzled by the harsh crowd. Kicker Travelstead also struggled, going 1/3 at FGs with a long of only 25 yards.
