Gators Roll to 2-0 in Beefy Cup Pool

UF traveled to Kent, OH to face off against the Golden Flashes and came up victorious to improve to 2-0 in Beefy Cup pool play. Going into the game, Florida knew they couldn't sleep on the Golden Flashes as they are 2-0 in regular season play with wins over Indiana and Old Dominion.

The Gator offense came out with their patented high octane rushing attack. With contributions from FR RB KD Daniels, SR RB Montrell Johnson Jr. and FR QB DJ Lagway, they totaled 360 yards rushing as a team.

The defense rose up to the challenge forcing Kent State's QB to throw 6 interceptions, SO FS Jordan Castell recorded 4 INTs of his own.

Final Score: UF 41 - KENT 17
