Keg Likes Em Big!UK Tops BYU
Article By: It was just two knuckleheads catching up over a video game, so a massive write-up doesn’t need to happen. The game in itself was rather odd. Three times BYU went up over 20 in the first half only to have a disconnect on Coach Kegs' end of things. After much delay from the disconnects and Coach Keg getting another Whiteclaw, we got the game in the books. With Coach Keg arriving late from the agreed-upon time, the total start to finish was a hair over six hours. Had to be the longest game in NDL history.
Pre-Season #37 UK hosted the Stormin Mormons #42 preseason) and it broke down like this:
+BYU jumped up 14-0 early.
+UK held their composure and held to a 4th and one and BYU kicked a FG.
+UK controlled the clock 18 to nine minutes.
+UK hit 63% of third downs (7/11).
+BYU had their only turnover on their possible game-winning drive.
BYU could not stop three plays that killed the BYU team 1) FK WR Screen; 2) RPO Zone Randy; and PA Wheels. Coach TSTEP “We couldn’t do anything to stop them.”
