Article By: MANHATTAN, KS - AP
While Coach bearass is entering his 28th season in the NDL that doesn't necessarily equate to success in Wildcat fans minds. Early returns at the scrimmage fields see K-state struggling mightly in completeing passes, pass blocking, and all over the defense. With a brand new Big XII (16) conference though there are many unknowns, and the title is up for grabs.
For the Wildcats new offensive and defensive systems will test the players ability to evolve, while fans will ask what was wrong with Klieman's team to make a change in the first place. Big games adorn the schedule with an early visit to the Lake Michigan lacrosse complex to face a veteran NDL coach in Matt54987, an early visit from another Big Ten team in top 5 Oregon. UMass, Houston and Cincinnati are lurking as well looking for an easy +2 upset on their coaching scores. Not to mention familiar Conference foes in Oklahoma State, West Virigina, and a return from Colorado. New challeneges in BYU, and conference favorite Arizona State. Then the rivialries with KU and Farmageddon against the Clones. Certianly the Wildcats have their work cut out for them, while fans wonder if the AD has any idea at what he's doing.
