Battle for QB1 Takes Place in Mobile

As week 1 quickly approaches, the South Alabama Jaguars have yet to name an official starter.

The Jags and their new head coach, Srgtzt, have found themselves with a decision to make. Who will be QB1 on week 1 as the Jags head to Louisville to take on the Cardinals of the ACC. The quarterback position battle has been tight between freshman lefty Gio Lopez of Huntsville, AL and Sophomore Bishop Davenport of Spring, TX. Both quarterbacks are quick on their feet and provide a tricky element for defenses to shut down. Coach Srgtzt said the starting job will go to the quarterback who can limit turnovers and convert on third down.
