Article By: Now for the 2nd edition of the ACC power rankings......
#1 Virginia Tech (VTrunNgun)
Winning, and winning big. Still waiting on games against Texas and Florida to see if this yet another championship caliber Hokie squad.
#2tie Florida State (dcane7)
With a loss to #5 Georgia, and falling in the NDL Cup, the Noles might not be an "elite" team this season. Yet they are still perfect in conference.
#2tie Wake Forest (IceMorbid)
With only a crazy bounce of the ball stopping them from being 5-0 Wake waiting to see what happens in weeks 9(@ Miami) and 10(home vs FSU).
#3 Miami (sammy33)
Nothing new from last time with the Canes, need to play some games or they will drop like a rock in next weeks rankings.
#4 NC State (NCSUholmey)
A tough loss to a great USC team and the win over Wake show that Holmey might be primed to make some noise this season.
#5 Maryland (UnTouchable8)
With a .500 rec the Terps are still the same team we saw a few weeks ago, with they improve or regress?
#6 Boston College (RB4SC22)
They have already play the best the Atlantic division has to offer, it will only get easier from here.
#7 North Carolina (OracleHCR)
All 3 losses are to very good teams, and their 17 point win over Missouri is impressive, but a 1-3 team is still a 1-3 team.
#8 Pitt (steelcitychaos)
The Panthers have played two tough games, but we need to see more games from them before they can move up in the rankings.
#9 Syracuse (quest4gold)
A loss to a tough UCLA team is their only result since the initial rankings, nothing more to say.
#10 Georgia Tech (john24)
At 0-2 the Yellow Jackets have not lived up to the expectations some of us had for them, but there is still plenty of time for them to turn the season around.
#11 tie Clemson (wsdp)
#11 tie Duke (Black Crowes)
#11 tie Virginia (gpaul62)
No games played, nothing to ranked to this point. Disappointing, shocking, take your pick.
