Season 27 is set to get underway July 25th and fans of the Pac 12 can't wait to see how their favorite teams fair this year. Several new coaches were hired during the off season as half of the conference either fired their coaches or saw them leave for greener pastures. Most notable of the new hires was USC. Despite being a premier job year in and year out in the NDL they were not snagged until the 15th pick in the draft. The next selection didn't go until 33rd (Arizona). Some think the sleeper pick may have not been chosen until 36th though when Anderlin83 picked the Arizona State Sun Devils. ASU is already showing their strength with the recent upset of Talented3's Ohio State University squad in the opening round of the NDL Cup.
With six new coaches being hired that means there were six coaches that chose to stay put. The surprise stay of the group may be Oregon State's ndlkdog after going 4-8 last season. The other remaining five should come as no surprise with Cougnix and UclaMac keeping their favorite teams (WSU and UCLA), Stanford (iRoc), Oregon (6ft), and UW (GG). With Stanford and Oregon's coaches remaining with their teams we should expect another good run from both of them for control of their division. UCLA, in the South, will have to worry about newcomers as he is the only hold over coach in that division.
