BIG XII GAME OF THE WEEK

Here it is. The big match up in the Big XII that everyone has been waiting for. Last seasons National Championship Game participant and Big XII Conference Champion Oklahoma State with returning coach SuperJake visiting perennial powerhouse Texas with their long time coach VVV. Both teams have suffered a loss this season, but the losses were very different. Texas lost to a Top 5 team in Austin while Oklahoma State went down against an unranked foe away from home. Was Okie State looking ahead? Has Texas held back on playing their games so SuperJake couldn't scout him? This game will have a huge, huge impact on the conference championship. With the limited amount of games played it is tough to make a call on this, but look for the Cowboys defense to play big and focus on the run and QB Chelf to return to last seasons form and air it out...but will it be enough? On the other side, Texas must step up their D. If they allow the Cowboys to score 30+ points in this game they will lose.

BIG XII NOTABLES

texasfan4444: 0-2 (0-0) @ the_niddler: 3-0 (1-0)

Oklahoma is coming off of a very impressive win over Kansas State. ECU can be an offensive nightmare and Coach texasfan definitely knows his way around the football controller, however, they will be no match for the Sooners defense which currently has 13 sacks, 10 INT's, and 4 defensive TD's through 3 games.

OutRage: 0-0 (0-0) @ uf83198 : 3-0 (1-0)

TCU is another team in the Big XII off to a fast start. Currently sitting at 3-0 he is primed to compete for the CC, but still has not faced a team that could truly challenge him. The Mustangs are an offensive minded team and could give the TCU defense fits. The Horned Frogs will be well served keeping the ball on the ground and running as much clock as possible.

Talented3: 1-0 (0-0) @ buckeye76: 0-1 (0-0)

Two great teams, two great coaches. While Baylor showed us early that they will be competitive this season we haven't been able to judge if they can keep it up yet. WVU has nothing to prove. They've consistently been a great team ran by the same great coach year after year. Expect this to be a real clash but the experience of running the same team with the same quarterback for multiple seasons should seal the deal.

chuskerpride: 0-3 (0-0) @ ChampDizzle: 1-2 (0-1)

If champ wants to make some noise it's time to right the ship now. He was able to avenge his loss against Miami in the cup game but has since lost back to back games, one a heart breaker to A&M and the other a beat down by Oklahoma. Purdue should be just what the doctor ordered for K State to get the problems worked out...or is K State the Georgia of the Big XII (overrated)

taruncheel: 0-1 (0-0) @ Tjw489: 1-2 (0-0)

Texas Tech has had a rough go of the start of their season. However, if you really look at their schedule you'll see their two losses were only by a TD each and both were against Top 10 teams. I continue to believe this team is going to make some noise. Iowa State is coming off of a shut out loss to BYU. They'll need to get things fixed quickly if they want a chance to compete, much less win this game.
