For the second week in a row Texas gets the honors of being in The Game Of The Week. This could be a good thing, but it could also be bad. If Texas beats Oklahoma State in Week 5 then this becomes another huge match up for them to remain on top of the Big XII. If they're coming off of a loss then it is a do or die game. With the Red River Shoot Out still on the horizon Texas can't get to far ahead of themselves. West Virginia is one of those teams that always starts out the season quietly and then sneaks up on everyone by the end. Well, that was alright when you're competing in the Big East, but here in the Big XII with multiple powerhouse teams every week is a big week and the spotlight is constantly on you. This is their chance to show the everyone they want the conference title.

Tjw489: 1-2 (0-0) @ the_niddler: 3-0 (1-0)
Both teams should be coming off of wins from the previous week and will now need to focus on winning in the conference. OU has taken the first step with an 1-0 conference record, as for TTU this will be their first conference game. Will Tech wilt under the pressure of playing so many highly ranked teams early on or will they have served as tune ups and allow them to steal a game from the Sooners?
uf83198 : 3-0 (1-0) @ taruncheel: 0-1 (0-0)
By the time this game is played, uf should have 5 regular season games under his belt and have a good understanding of what his team is all about. With all the attention OU, Texas, and Oklahoma State have been getting TCU should be able to keep quietly building on their record and position in the conference standings. Iowa State has not given us much to judge them by so far. With a big loss to BYU but good Cup game win we have to sit back and wonder which team will show up. ISU gets the Horned Frogs at home and will need to take advantage of that if they want the win.

Rivalry Game
The Sunflower Showdown. Is their a better name for a rivalry than this? Probably so, but that doesn't matter. K State will need to keep winning and hope for some help from the higher ups if they want a chance to compete for the conference title. Kansas, well...Kansas beat Hawaii.
