Article By: BIG XII GAME OF THE WEEK

A tough decision this week as both this game and the TTU vs. Wisconsin game can have huge implications on the season. However, USC's (0-1) defeat by a team that could have a losing record at the end of the season (SEC West, come on!) has Coach Shel's back up against the wall. If he has any hope of being able to stay in the NC Title talk he must almost certainly win out from here on. Up next for him is Baylor (0-1) who only lost at Clemson by a mere touchdown...in Double OT! Can Coach Buckeye go ahead and knock shel out of contention? The Bears will have the advantage of playing at home and will give the Trojans all they can ask for...and more.
BIG XII NOTABLES

SuperJakeB: 1-0 (0-0)
This game should be nothing more than a stat stuffer for the Cowboys. Coach swelly is no slacker, but his team will not have the horse power to keep up the weapons of Okie State. SuperJake will have plenty of opportunities to work on his running game as they will undoubtedly run away from Wyoming.

cnotes008: 0-0 (0-0)
Coach VVV must make sure that everyone realizes his cup game loss was a fluke. The last thing Texas needs this season is every team entering their contest believing they can replicate the upset win. If VVV has not put away LSU by this game he will need to use it to set the example. Coach cnotes is a capable coach and Toledo, while just a MAC team, has always put a decent team on the field. Look for the Longhorns to come out and take control early, removing any doubt from all the other NDL coaches that Texas is susceptible this season.

Our first Big XII match up this season! Beefy has come out this season demanding to know why he is not getting any respect. Here is his opportunity to show everyone he deserves it. Crist will need to come out firing again, but must make sure to cut down on his INT's and increase upon his TD's. TCU, who does have a new coach this season, appears to have found his groove early. Using the same approach he did at Nebraska, Coach uf's team is focused on the run, evident by six different players already combining for a total of 69 rush attempts.

Tjw489: 1-1 (0-0) @

dcane7: 1-1 (0-0)
Coach Tjw started the season off on the right foot by taking out Air Force. His next opponent, LSU, would not be as easy though. LSU would win the game, but it was close...and it was at home. This should make Coach dcane a little nervous and he has never been known to take any game lightly. Expect TTU to come out with the same defensive intensity that Tjw has made a name for himself with, but to win this game he must make sure his offense imposes their will on a stacked Wisconsin defense.

ICE: 1-0 (0-0) @

taruncheel: 0-0 (0-0)
Coach taruncheel finds himself hosting Coach ICE and his vaunted BYU team this week. While ISU has given BYU nothing to scout at this time, the Cyclones can start getting prepared by knowing they will face a very balanced attack from ICE. BYU took out Northwestern last week 28-7 with a good combination of running and passing. Iowa State must also be aware of the defense. The 7 points Northwestern did put up last week was on a pick 6. BYU never let the Wildcats get in scoring range while on offense.
