nick couldn't believe he was lucky enough to snag the Tigers of LSU with the #9 pick in the draft. Not wanting to waste time he immediately began talking smack to some of the more successful coaches in the NDL. First on his list will be Coach VVV with Season 26 Heisman hopeful RB Malcolm Brown. nick will need to lean heavily on the vaunted Tiger defense if he has any hopes of stopping Texas at home. VVV will most likely just need to play his game, the Texas coach knows his team to well to lose at home.

(SuperJake)
SuperJake had a great first season with his favorite team Oklahoma State. After shaking off a first game loss he was able to put together a string of 11 straight wins and "earned" the right to play VT in the NDL Championship game. This season OSU gets to face the team that gave them their only regular season loss, at home...and will want revenge.

Early reports say Niddler will be a handful with Oklahoma and could look to upset some coaches who have high hopes with their teams. He was able to accomplish some big things with Pitt last season and an early season test at Utah could show us just how concerned we need to be.

uf left his...umm...why were you at Nebraska? and came back to their old stomping grounds in the Big XII. With a potent offense and an impressive defense he should be able to pick up where BigMike left off. An early season match up with Maryland will help him get his game fine tuned and ready for conference play.

(Champ)
Champ is coming off a great season at UTEP where he was able to lead them into the Top 25. Some late season snafu's kept him from staying there but was still able to accomplish all his goals and achieve a high draft rank. Unfortunately, his hopes of getting his beloved Dawgs' was snatched away from him and he found himself settling in with KSU. Will Champ be focused enough after losing out on Georgia? Both teams will need to make sure and keep tabs on the QB's or that could spell disaster for the defense.

(beefy)
In a matchup that's been going of for as long as time itself, beefy will host the Crimson Tide with his Kansas Jayhawks. Both coaches enjoy playing against each other in this Week 1 scrimmage for Alabama.

(Tjw489)
Tjw was able to pull off a monumental upset last season against a very tough FSU team. His reward this season is coming into a stacked Big XII conference where the coaches will know better than to overlook him. Look for Tech to put up some big numbers with what I believe could be a dark horse Big XII First Team QB, but his defense better be ready to shut down a tough option team.

(Buckeye) @

(bigred)
Buckeye returns to Baylor after a brief hiatus with his favorite college team. This season he will need to rely on RB Seastrunk to get him through some tough spots with this team and better hope that his defense is prepared to stop RB Robert Turbin or it could be a week of ridicule on the Big XII boards.
