The battle for the Cy-Hawk Trophy pits two very tough coaches (mbyrd vs. taruncheel) against each other in what should be a great close game. DE Willie Scott was a huge factor for ISU last season and taruncheel needs to lean on him early and often for success.

Another key match up in the great state of Texas. nick will bring his vaunted Tigers to visit the Red Raiders this time around allowing us to see if this Conference Commish is right about thinking TTU will be a potential contender for the conference championship this season. Look for a high scoring affair as Tj will look to get Doege going early and often.



(Buckeye) @ (BigMike)

Buckeye will take his team to Death Valley and face a team that even BFiVL is afraid of this season. It's been rumored that there is a high octane offense with BigMike at the helm and Buckeye will need to find some of his own to keep it close.



(Quest) @ (Champ)

Champ will have his 2nd home game and faces a potentially tough Texas A&M squad. Klein should be able to take advantage of the defense...unless ole' swelly really wasn't any good after all...and put up his 2nd W of the season.

TCU's second tune up game of the season. This game will give uf a chance to get some solid numbers behind his players heading into tougher games. However, don't take TheDoctor lightly. All of his games at Vandy were closer than you would think last season.

Kansas travels to North Carolina to play a very tough Wake Forest team with yougooglizer at the helm. The Deacons will give beefy fits on defense as the Big XII Cellar Dwellar lands his 2nd L.

In a tough coach match up for OU, Niddler must stay on his guard to keep plasma at bay or Miami could make this much more interesting that one would think by just looking at team names. Will Niddler put together a 2nd W or be licking his wounds from his Week 1 match up with Utah? Be careful of the trap games.



(shiftdnb) @ (Talented)

Coach Talented will host the Southern Miss Eagles and unleash Geno Smith and Heisman Hopeful WR Tavon Austin on shiftdnb's team. After a slow start last season look for WVU to come out strong and ready to challenge for the Big XII Championship this go round.
