Article By: With season opening drawing near, the Badgers have fine tuned their offense and made the adjustments on defense and the team is ready for season 26 to start.
Wisconsin's first match up will be against 2 time defending champs Virginia Tech Hokies. The Hokies and Coach VT come off a 14-0 season and are on a 23 game winning streak. Both teams faced off at last season's opening but we believe the Hokies were more prepared for that one and came away with a 45-35 victory. This time the Badgers know what to expect as Coach VT is a strong believer in if it isn't broke don't fix it. The two coaches have history, seeing that they have been play against each other since the first night of online game for NCAA ever started and the rivalry and friendship has continued to go through the years. This game is either going to have a lot of offense or because a tremendous defensive battle. But either way one to watch for sure. Score? that will be determine, but Lane stadium needs to be ready for the Badgers because the Badgers are ready for them.
Next up this block the Badgers play host to the Bulldogs. Wisconsin goes to the SEC after it's ACC matchup and will treat this game no different. " Be it Virginia Tech, Alabama, LSU or even SJSU, we treat no game differently. We are the new kid on the block looking to knock the block off of the cool kid in town." said Coach Cane at the Preseason press conference. Miss St. has a good coach with Bearass at the helm and we will not slack at all on this one. One mistake and a great game can turn into a nightmare. Look for the defense to try to keep Tyler Russell in check as they show him different looks to try and confuse the offense. Either way Wisconsin is ready for the challenge that the Bulldogs will bring to Camp Randall.
