Article By: Fresh off an 8-5 season, and coming off a win against Kansas State in his first ever bowl appearance, Coach Whittness makes a move from Iowa to coach the LSU Tigers in what could be the last season in the NDL. Even though Whittness went 3-9 in his first 2 seasons (Florida Atlantic/Colorado), he was able to surpass win goals, get the easy points by voting and posting recaps, and move up in the draft. He missed the draft for season 27 and received Iowa via "best available". This was a blessing in disguise. After getting blown out by Missouri and Michigan St. in the first two games played, he would get the hang of the offense and rattle off some wins, and some very close losses. Whittness again would surpass his win goal. After being tempted to stay at Iowa, he opted to enter the draft again with it being the possible last season in hopes of getting that "elite" team. The draft order was released and Coach Whittness was sitting at Pick 6. After selecting LSU, Whittness made the decision to play as many ranked teams as possible and make the most out of this potential final season. There is a strong potential to be under .500 with all the quality coaches on the schedule, but it should be interesting and fun to compete. Coach Whittness wishes all his opponents luck this season, enjoy it while it's here.
