Article Data Imported from Previous NDL SiteSeason 25: High Expectations
Article By: Pullman - WA Coach Cougnix is just about on the end of his rope in Pullman. A lot rides on this season 25 campaign. It's hard to say, but results are important in college football and this season there needs to be results. Over this current dynasty run for the Cougars under Cougnix they have gone 16-33 (11-25 Pac-12) and 21-40 all time in Pullman. This season has a certain bright side to it. Marquess Wilson at WR could very well be an All-American and award winner at the end of the season, of course depending on the season Jeff Tuel has. Both will lead an improved offense with speedy running backs Rickey Galvin and Carl Winston. Defense is going to be the biggest issue in Pullman. The Cougs hired a new D-Coordinator and have decided to run the 4-2-5 defense. This fits the LB slim team that has a good RE in Travis Long. The interior line is suspect, but should be able to do the job. Alot is riding on this season, just hope that expectations are reached and a bowl game is achieved.
