Miggity-Miggity-MAC Season Preview

Article By: NCAA Dynasty League

13 teams? Really? Is there a team that doesn't count so as not to have 13 teams in the conference, like buildings that don't count the 13th floor?

This is an amazing group of coaches, longtime coaches, newer guys, some coaches having long tenures at their current program and even former NDL Champs, it is going to be a very interesting and fun year to sit back and see how this plays out.

Since there is an obvious East coast bias out there let's take a look at the East division first...

Predicted Order-

EAST:

Temple- Led by Coach Justin Kelly beginning his second year at the helm in Philly, he seems to have found a place to settle in and maybe put down some roots. Getting to a bowl game in consecutive seasons the Owls look poised to take the next step in the MAC and grab that division crown and battle for the conference title. Coach Kelly has the endorsement of Bill Cosby and the cheerleaders which carries a lot of weight on the Temple campus.

Miami of Ohio-Pat heads in the Iron Belt and one has to wonder how the Cali guy will fit in w/the Redhawks. Given his history for having a frenetic defense and a strong running game, I think he will fit in just fine. Most certainly can pull the division and conference titles into his trophy case. I know he wishes they all could be California girls, but the Miami of Ohioans could totally distract him.

Buffalo-Trendon maintains his love/hate relationship w/the Buffalo program, loves them cause they allow him to keep them and get solid draft picks each draft, but also hates them because it is never quite good enough to land his beloved Cornhuskers in the draft. Buffalo will take that because they are like the fat girlfriend, they get some lovin' but are always willing to go that extra step to make sure they can keep their man!

Kent State-Jeff Daddy in the HOUSE! Well, let's hope so at least, I prolly would have put the Golden Flashes higher, but don't have a whole lot to base it on from the previous season. I know the Daddy is going to get things going again and I would not be shocked to see him lead the Golden Flashes to challenge for the division. Let's hope his season is more like this....

than this...

Ohio-The Bobcats will be coached by Vttwinky. Chris will be looking to take the Ohio U to the top w/a solid squad. I feel like I could be completely missing the boat on the Bobcats this season. They are my sleeper team in the East. Meanwhile, back at the Pi Beta Phi house...

Bowling Green-The Bowling Green Falcons will have longtime NDL vet KRGKMG, or aka WKRP-ok maybe that was just me that called him that but anyway-the Bowling Green squad is lacking on talent but no one is better at getting maximum talent out of a squad than Coach Keith. At least the cheerleaders know you are gonna look at their asses anyway so they say "take a gander"

Akron-Former Grand Poobah AJ takes over the Zips of Akron. Mr. Alves has the skills to win against any coach in the league, the Zips however do not, but AJ will pull some surprises this season. This was a complete antithesis to Lebron, AJ is taking his talents to Akron.

A couple of the many reasons Bron-Bron left.

WEST:

Western Michigan-Coach Hugme has quickly established his name as one of the better coaches in the league in 6 seasons he has a 58-33 record. It won't be easy because they West has a very strong stable of coaches up and down the division.

Today's helpful hint, beware some of these Facebook tricks...

Duck Lips!

No Duck Lips!

Ball Sate-Like I said we have some new guys in the conference, huh what? oh yeaaa I remember this guy Shelton! Let's hope the dialup is working better this season!

This Ball State cheerleader is showing how to get a rise from the fans.

Northern Illinois-Wes is going back to his old stomping grounds and can certainly be the surprise team in the MAC West. The Huskies will play solid and be competitive in every game and have umpteen reasons why they don't win every game.

Oh I'm kidding! I feel bad, now here's one to make up for that...

Toledo-The Rockets will have some Ohio blood(guessing Chris is from Ohio) flowing on the sidelines this season as Coach GoBucks coaching them this season. He has been in since season 10 and has had some quality teams in his tenure in the NDL. This one could go either way for him.

Will Coach GoBucks have to dig deep into his bag of tricks to take the Rockets to the top?!

Central Michigan-Coach Harder looks to hammer his opponents in the MAC. The Chippewas will have a hard time winning the division but will win enough games to have a say in who wins the Eastern and Western divisions.

If CMU can win a couple of games early, it'll be WIDE OPEN for them to snatch the prize.

and this chick is just kinda cute so I had to put her in also.

Eastern Michigan-Well well well, look who's back. Sorry to put you here, I doubt this is where EMU will end the season but just not sure what to do prediction wise. Fellow MAC'ers be ready to play when face EMU, Skin had a very solid NDL career going until dropping out-I think due to the PS3 switch?(not totally sure, hard to remember so far back lol)

I think this chick is an EMU coed, but her shirt is at least green so I think it is a match.

My predictions don't usually pan out all that great for the conferences so don't be mad if you are too low in your opinion, just use it as motivation! lol

To wrap up, just have fun out there fellas and enjoy the season. Have a MAC-a-docious season! eeeeee-yuck that was bad!
