Well I made one post on this already, but we are on the home stretch and here is the updated list with my order of who is in the lead... (Not Official)
1) Lamar Miller #6 (RB) | MIA-FL
Miami is currently 8-2, and have an chance at the ACC title. Miller's stats include, 220 carries 1308 yards 20 td's 509 rac yards. He also has added 14 receptions for 204 yards and 1 td. The only thing that could hurt Miller's chance at the heisman would be any more losses. Also there are alot of one loss teams that have alot of games to play.
2) Johnathan Franklin #23 (RB) | UCLA
Ucla is currently 8-2, but with two conf losses may not play in the Pac 12 championship game. Franklin does have currently 207 carries for 1311 yards and 11 td's 342 rac yards. He also adds 31 rec 396 yards and 3 td's. More than just those two stats he also has 520 return yards and 1 punt return for a td. The fact that Ucla will probably not play in the Pac-12 championship game will hurt Franklin's chances to be this years heisman.
3) Johnny McEntee #18 (QB) | UCONN
Uconn is currently 7-2, but their 2 losses are both inconference, and with Pitt and WVU leading their conference Uconn's ranking might effect voters. His stats include, 154 completions 249 attempts and 2350 yards passing with 22 td's and 15 int's. Uconn still has some more games for this gunslinger to add more to his stats, and I personally think he will have to add some more td's and no int's to make a strong case for the heisman.
4) Michael Dyer #5 (RB) | AUB
Auburns record is the top reason why he isnt in the mix. Dyer has currently 248 carries 1563 yards and 14 td's 395 rac yards. He also has 4 rec for 21 yards. Possibly if Auburn wins out and he adds to his numbers He could have his name called for this years heisman.
Thats all I got at looking at the numbers for now. I know there are alot of one loss teams out there that are like 4-1 or like 5-1 and could really add to their players but currently the numbers just arent there right now. Perhaps we will get to the end of the season and a clear front runner will emerge, but so far there just isnt that one guy yet.
