A rundown of the week's hottest games.
WEEK 5
#1 Alabama Crimson Tide 3-0 (0-0 SEC) BFiVL
#20 Arkansas Razorbacks 1-1 (0-0 SEC) BigStimpin
On paper, this should be a sure win for Alabama. Until you remember last season's battle ended with a combined zero touchdowns and 5 field goals (12-3 Tide win). A close loss to TCU will likely drop the Razorbacks out of the rankings next week but they can secure a future spot with a big win here.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Alabama decided to schedule a marquee non-conference game this season and just squeeked by Oklahoma. They are still playing the dominating offense they showed in the first 9 games of last season averaging nearly 30 points per game, thanks to 7 touchdown passes by QB Philip Sims. Sims, however, has already thrown 4 picks and the most troubling concern about that stat is that only 1 of them was to the OU defense (the other 3 were to a winless Arizona State team). Arkansas is averaging 1.5 interceptions per game and only allowing 115 yards per game passing. This could create a problem for the Tide, who pass about 50% of the time.
THE UNTOUCHABLE PREDICTION
Last season, I correctly predicted Bama's first loss to Ole Miss and this season I'm predicting Bama's first loss to be in Fayetteville.

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs 3-0 (0-0 WAC) razorback44
Hawaii Warriors 2-1 (0-0 WAC) RB4SC22
The WAC never gets any spotlight so now it's their time to shine. The Bulldogs have already knocked off two BCS conference teams (Arizona State and Indiana) en route to their 3-0 start. The Warriors upset #4 Boise State
in Boise by 10 points. This game won't get much attention but it's as big as WAC games get.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Through 3 games, the Bulldogs actually rank 11 in total offense with more than 363 yards per game. RB Lennon Creer is averaging over 140 yards per game on the ground which is among the top in the league. The Warriors prefer the pass, although QB Bryant Moniz is only completing 51% of his passes and has thrown more picks than TDs.
THE UNTOUCHABLE PREDICTION
This one could get sloppy in terms of turnovers but the team that wins that battle will ultimately win the game. The Warriors forced 4 picks on the Broncos, but have yet to force a fumble all season. If the Bulldogs stick to the ground game, this will be their game to take.

WEEK 6
#7 Wisconsin Badgers 3-0 (0-0 Big 10) TEEwade
#10 Nebraska Cornhuskers 3-0 (0-0 Big Ten) 6ftdeep
The top of the Legends meets the top of the Leaders. Nebraska enters this game playing in their first ever Big 10 matchup. Neither team thus far has really played much competition (each team is averaging greater than 18-point margin of victories through 3 games and their combined opponent records is 1-15). It'll be tough to gauge whether it'll be the offenses or defenses prove to be the deciding factor in this one.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez has already punched in 4 TDs on the ground on just 9 rushing attempts while only attempting 2 pass all season so if Martinez is in the game, expect him to run. The Badgers employ a two running back system, with RB James White getting the heavier workload. Both White and Montee Ball have 3 TDs on the season and both have the ability to escape from the backfield at breakaway speeds.
THE UNTOUCHABLE PREDICTION
The Badgers will contain Taylor Martinez when he comes on the field which will frustrate the Huskers and force them into multiple field goals in the red zone. Wisconsin gives Nebraska a rude welcome to the Big 10.

#5 Stanford Cardinal 1-0 (0-0 PAC-12) steamrollr22
UCLA Bruins 3-0 (0-0 PAC-12) UclaMac
A win here for the Bruins and they'll be off to their best start since TEEwade took them to an 11-1 season and Rose Bowl appearance in Season 17. UCLA is off to a surprising start after only winning 6 games last season. The Cardinal beat the Bruins by a modest two touchdowns last season on their way to a national title but the surprising resignation of Coach Plasma leaves this game one to watch.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Despite their impressive numbers on offense, the Bruins aren't doing too well at forcing turnovers, and that may not bode well for a Stanford team that loves to put points on the scoreboard. Heisman candidate and all-but-certain NFL #1 draft pick Andrew Luck will be the guy to watch although he managed to throw 2 picks to a far inferior Ohio team.
THE UNTOUCHABLE PREDICTION
If the Bruins can't force turnovers, it'll be tough to stop the high-powered offense of the Cardinal. Coach Steam has only averaged 2 losses each of his last 8 seasons, but don't expect this game to be one of them.
