Hawaii is not the same team of the 2007 season, but 4 years removed from a BCS bowl, QB Bryant Moniz is hungry to get back after he came in and filled the roll of Colt Brennan in the 2008 season.



"We aren't going to hold ourselves to any expectations, because thats how we set ourselves up to fail. We are going to play hard, and try to out smart our opponents, because we dont have the talent level of a Boise St, or TCU. Whatever happens, happens." Said Coach Green, coming off an upseting 5-7 season at Kentucky.



Coach Green came out talking like Rex Ryan last seaosn, and it killed him to perform so poorly. " We have a good system, and some good athletes, and a great QB to distribute the ball. Everyone has to do their part and the Hawaii football squad could raise some eyes" said Mark May.



It'll be a fun season, just have to score points and be competitive, have some fun.
