A rundown of the week's hottest games.

WEEK 11

#4 Stanford Cardinal 7-0 (5-0 PAC-12) plasma1896 @ #7 Oregon State Beavers 5-1 (3-1 PAC-12) runthepound

With the Beavers losing a close game to the struggling Utes last night, this game is all the more important if they want a chance at winning the newly-formed PAC-12 North. But in order to do that, they'll have to get by a team that ranks among the top two in the conference in points for, points against, and total offense. In fact, the only statistical advantage Oregon State has over Stanford is that they turnover the ball one less time per game. Keys to the game: The Cardinal's balanced offense is obviously working. Keep putting up points and they shouldn't have a problem. Plain and simple. THE UnTouchable Prediction: This should be a no-brainer. Oregon State started off the season very well but their flaws were exposed against Utah and they have yet to play a team the caliber of Stanford. The Cardinal win 30-10.

Southern Miss Golden Eagles 4-2 (1-1 C-USA) OutRage @ #22 East Carolina Pirates 7-1 (4-0 C-USA) autiger730

Southern Miss is still thinking about the missed opportunity they had last season. Losing the Conference USA championship to Rice after an undefeated season cost them a shot at a BCS game. They're less consistent this season but still have a shot at a conference title game if they can somehow knock off the streaking Pirates. East Carolina's only slip up came early in the season to a Troy team that seemed to exploit holes in the Pirate defense. Keys to the game: ECU QB Dominique Davis is among the top 3 quarterbacks in the league in terms of yards and TDs and he'll want to be accurate against a defense that averages 2 picks per game. THE UnTouchable Prediction: The Golden Eagles will start the game off like they're wanting to upset, but the Pirates will get things under control by halftime. ECU wins 28-21.

Others to watch for:

#3 South Carolina Gamecocks 8-1 (5-1 SEC) ChampDizzle @ #18 Arkansas Razorbacks 4-3 (0-3 SEC) razorback44

---Can the Gamecocks bounce back from their loss to Mississippi State? Or will the Razorbacks finally get their first conference win?

#19 TCU Horned Frogs 7-2 (3-1 MWC) LytezOut @ #5 Boise State Broncos 6-1 (2-0 MWC) nole4real

---The race to the Mountain West title is tight and this game will be prove to be important in determining a winner.

#13 Kansas State Wildcats 7-0 (5-0 Big 12) BigStimpin @ Oklahoma State Cowboys 5-2 (3-1 Big 12) texasfan4444

---These two teams currently sit first and third in the Big 12. With 4 teams in contention to win the conference, this game is all the more important.

WEEK 12

#1 Alabama Crimson Tide 7-0 (4-0 SEC) BFiVL @ #15 Mississippi State Bulldogs 7-1 (4-1 SEC) Steamrollr22

With South Carolina upset by the Bulldogs this week, this game just got a lot more interesting. The Gamecocks are more than likely still headed to the SEC title game, but who they play is still highly debatable. Nobody can deny the dominance the Crimson Tide have shown this year, but few have seen the strides Mississippi State has taken, who have run through one of the toughest schedules in the league. With their sole loss to LSU, a win here could thrust a potential three-way tie atop the SEC West. Keys to the game: Alabama has yet to see a ground game at the level that Mississippi State has been showing. The Bulldogs average nearly 150 rush yards per game and will need to continue that trend against a defense that has still yet to give up a touchdown. Clock management is crucial. The Bulldogs are the best in the conference in time of possession; the Crimson Tide are the worst. THE UnTouchable Prediction: It's been a few weeks since I picked a big upset but I'm about to break that trend. This will be a defensive struggle and a low scoring affair but I'm going to go bold here. Mississippi State upsets the Crimson Tide, 20-10.

Texas A&M Aggies 6-2 (5-0 Big 12) ReignOnU @ #13 Kansas State Wildcats 7-0 (5-0 Big 12) BigStimpin

The top two teams in the Big 12. Both are 5-0 in the conference. Kansas State has been pretty much burning through their competition but have played a somewhat easier schedule so far than Texas A&M. With two losses, the Aggies will need to win out if they want to make a BCS game via automatic qualifier. A close loss to South Carolina is respectable, their loss to Ohio State is debatable, and handing Iowa State their first loss will give the Aggies much for voters to talk about. Keys to the game: Aggie QB Ryan Tannehill is on pace to have a monster season and Kansas State RB Bryce Brown is averaging over 100 rush yards per game. The Aggies are first in the conference in points for and the Wildcats are first in the conference in points against, so this could turn into a defensive battle. THE UnTouchable Prediction: The Wildcats rely heavily on their run game and the Aggies have only given up more than 90 rush yards in a game once this season, in their loss to South Carolina. This will be too much for the Wildcats to overcome as their passing game is sub-par at best. Aggies get the upset(?) win 24-14.

Others to watch for:

#17 UNLV Rebels 5-1 (1-0 MWC) matt90210 @ #10 Air Force Falcons 7-1 (3-1 MWC) john24

---The other two top teams in the Mountain West will face off in a pivotal game in claiming the top spot in the conference.

Miami Hurricanes 3-2 (3-1 ACC) Cnasty @ Florida State Seminoles 5-2 (4-0 ACC) fsupenguin

---Florida State can secure their spot in the ACC title game with a win against the U.

#11 Louisville Cardinals 5-0 (1-0 Big East) mcx79 @ #9 Connecticut Huskies 7-1 (4-0 Big East) Driccio21

---Both coaches are riding dream seasons but who will emerge at the top of the Big East after this showdown?
