Tball275 signs one-year deal

HOUSTON - Tball275 was introduced as the new head football coach for Rice on Sunday at a press conference. The former Ole Miss leader has joined the Owls after agreeing to a one-year deal.



"We're looking to build off the momentum of last season," Tball275 said in his opening statement. "This team is capable of being an elite program in Conference USA every season."



Last season, john24 led Rice to a No. 12 ranking after compiling a 12-2 record, including an 8-1 mark in the CUSA West Division. The Owls capped the season by winning the overall league title and topping Mississippi State in the Liberty Bowl.



Rice opens Season 22 at New Mexico before heading to South Bend, Ind., to play 14th-ranked Notre Dame. The Owls open their home slate in back-to-back tilts with North Texas and Troy in weeks three and four.
