Article By: There was a lot of doubts if Coach Uuaww would be returning for his 8th season at Tulane. The last 3 seasons were a rollercoasters and boasters loved the high in season 20, going 5-7 and just missing a bowl game on the last game of the season. But they hated the lows. That 5-7 season was sandwiched by a pair of 0-12 campaigns and after the debacle in season 21, some boasters were calling for Coach Uuaww's head. Tulane took a hard look at some new coaches, but when the time came around, they decided on welcoming back Coach Uuaww

In the end, Coach Uuaww says winning the Tiger Rag is the ultimate goal. "Coach Shelly is a great coach over at LSU, but he has those two new assistants who seem to be doing more whining and crying then helping him" Indeed LSU has had some major changes in the offseason, we will have to see if it affects this rivalry in any way.
