Ucla looks to rebound after a 500 season and a horrible bowl loss!

UclaMac returns as the head coach and fans in westwood arent exactly thrilled about it. Going 6-7 in his first season Coach Mac looks to Mackey award winner Jonathon Franklin to lead the bruins to a more succesful season. Franklin had his best season yet for the Bruins last season and will have to be a pivitol part of the offense once again this season. The question mark for the Bruins again this season will be the play of Kevin Prince or Richard Brehaut at qb. Brehaut seems to have a better grasp of the offense, but his turnovers in key situations hurt the Bruins bigtime last season. when asked about who would get the start opening day coach Mac had this to say," Its wide open right now between the two. I know both of them want to play, but its my job to put in the player that gives us the best chance to win." The Bruins have also been practicing and some reports coming in are saying that the bruins are throwing more this season than last season. We asked coach Mac about this and he responded, " I dont think we are throwing it more, but I do feel like our play calls are being called on what the defense is showing more. With our running success I think teams want to key on that more, and we are responding with passes on certain situations where last season we might have ran the ball." There ya have it folks the Bruins look to havve a good 2nd season under Coach Mac, but time will tell!
