Vanderbilt Commodores 8-4 (5-3)
#1 LSU Tigers 12-0 (8-0)
When Vandy has the ball: Stats are incomplete for Vandy, but outside of the LSU game the Vanderbilt offense was pretty solid on the season. The LSU defense though is dominating and they will handle the Commodores with relative ease. If points are put on the board it will come late when the Tigers call off the dogs.
When LSU has the ball: Not a high scoring fast paced offense, but they don't want to be either. Quarterback Jordan Jefferson threw for 27 touchdowns, 14 of those to receiver Terrance Tolliver.
What will happen: On paper could very well be the biggest mismatch of any conference championship. LSU enters the game 12-0 and has already dominated Vanderbilt once this season. Back in Week 2, Vanderbilt got manhandled 35-7. And that was the halftime score. I am pretty sure this game won't be quite that big of a mismatch, but in the end I expect about the same score. LSU is a lock for the National Championship with a win here and they won't let Vandy get in the way of the Title.
Prediction: #1 LSU Tigers 35 Vanderbilt 10
