When Rice has the ball: They have an offense that can either throw it or run all over you. Quarterback Nick Fanzurri threw for 33 touchdowns on the year and running back Sam McGuffie had 1408 yards and 22 scores.



When S. Miss has the ball: First and foremost, they want to throw the ball and throw it often. They do counter that though with the run game as well as Tracy Lampley ran for 1101 yards and 10 touchdowns. Austin Davis threw for 4491 yards, 41 touchdowns and just 4 interceptions.



What will happen: This will be a shootout, or at least it should be. It wouldn't surprise me if the winning team got into the 50's, just depends on how many big plays there are.



Prediction: I ALWAYS hate picking myself, but for once I will...and it'll probably backfire. If S. Miss plays the way they are capable they should win, but it only takes one turnover for the game to change. S. Miss 45 Rice 42
