When Florida St. has the ball: They need to rely on the legs of Jermaine Thomas. Thomas finished the season just shy of 900 yards and 10 scores. Christian Ponder didn't have an overly impressive stat line as he threw 15 interceptions on the season compared to 19 touchdowns. FSU can not turn the ball over to pull the upset.
When Miami has the ball: They want to air it out as Jacob Harris had over 4000 yards for the season. He is prone to turnovers though as he threw 18 picks. Theraon Collier put up some absurd numbers this year. Collier caught 87 balls for over 1500 yards and 21 scores.
What will happen: Miami is in a fight with USC to get into the Championship game. A win here will likely boost them into the title match. This is a classic example of a conference without a title game can either hurt or help. This is a rematch of a 22-19 win by Miami earlier in the season. If the Hurricanes can avoid throwing more than one interception and don't get any fluke fumbles that result in a defensive score, I expect them to win again. Florida St. though wants this real bad, they had high hopes coming into the season.
Prediction: I think Miami falters under the pressure and struggles in the biggest game of the season. FSU will get revenge and find itself in a BCS game, Miami will still probably make one as well...knocking out another hopeful BCS team hoping to get an at large berth. FSU 27 Miami 23
