This week there are a lot of great games including #3 Alabama @ #18 South Carolina, #1 LSU @ #12 Florida, #2 Nebraska @ #22 Kansas State, and the game were featuring #10 FSU @ #5 Miami. All but one of these games have the potential to also be seen again in their Conference Championships. All these teams will be trying to get a leg up on their competition as they head into week 6.
Keys To The Game:
Florida State:
The Seminoles come in with a 3-1 record with wins over Michigan, San Jose St., and Wake Forest. Their loss came at the hands of TCU in week 3. Christian Ponder leads the FSU offense with 817 passing yards so far this season. Willie Haulstead and Bert Reed lead the team in receptions and have the majority of the recieving yardage.
Miami:
The Hurricanes are 3-0 with wins over Michigan State, Oregon, and San Diego St. Jacory Harris is off to a great start with 1018 yards passing yards and 10 TDS. Graig Cooper leads the rushing attack and has compiled 183 yards on 36 carries. Jacory Harris also runs and has gained 161 yards on 23 carries.
PREDICTION:
This game has all the makings of a shootout, as both teams are giving up over 25 points per game on defense and scoring in bunches. Look for both teams to try and exploit each others secondary and push the ball downfield. Shootouts only require one or two stops by the defense and which ever team gets those stops or can force a turnover or two will win this game. I am going to go with the home team in a high scoring affair. 38-35 Miami
