#25 Penn State Nittany Lions (2-0) @ #15 Oklahoma Sooners (2-0)
The "preseason" games have come and gone for #15 Oklahoma, but for #25 Penn State, they've been playing like it's Week 10 from the get go. The Nittany Lions knocked off the #18 Oregon Ducks and the #17 Texas Longhorns in consecutive weeks and now look to cruise into conference play at a cool 4-0 (considering Rutgers is a given). Poll voters will need to keep Penn State into heavy consideration for a Top 10 ranking heading into this weekend's poll if they can knock off the Sooners.

What To Watch
The Penn State offense is probably the most balanced offense we have in the league right now...and that can be SCARY for defenses. The Nittany Lions average 242 rush YPG and 247 passing YPG in their two outings this season. The Sooner defense will have to be on its toes and ready for a pass or run. Evan Royster leads the backfield with 282 yards on the ground, but backup Stephon Green is utilized as well, with 163 yards. The tandem, however, has combined for 3 fumbles so far, a fact the Oklahoma defense looks to exploit; they have forced and recovered 3 fumbles this year as well.
Oklahoma runs with a tandem backfield also, with DeMarco Murray leading the duo averaging over 100 YPG. Jermie Calhoun, while not nearly as many touches, has proved that he can bust open some big plays. It's obvious that the Sooners prefer the run to the pass, as they are 3-to-1 in that ratio. But the Nittany Lions defense should not look past veteran Landry Jones. He's a pocket passer that can throw the ball accurately and efficiently. The Sooners have yet to turn the ball over this season so it'll be interesting to see if they can continue that streak against an apparent tougher defense.
THE Untouchable Prediction
As a seasoned vet, JustGiver doesn't exactly boast the most impressive record. He's spent exactly one season above .500 but in all likelihood is playing with the best team he's had in his run with the NDL. Nothing against Brett here but until he can prove he can beat somebody this season, and since therefore it is too early to determine that, the Nittany Lions will continue their dominance against ranked non-conference opponents.
