Article By: 20 complete seasons are in the books in the NDL, and Florida State has won a great many games, but have never taken home a National or Cup Championship. 3 times the Noles have finished a season with 1 or fewer defeats, a nice number, but their main rivals Miami (6 times, 4Cups), and Florida (7 times, 3Cups, 5NCs) have well surpassed them to this point. With only a 35-26 in 5 seasons leading the Noles coach Penguin is not seen as a likely savior, but it has promise. As always the games against Miami and Florida loom large this season, and likely will have a lot to do with is FSU returns the limelight in any way shape or form. This season a ton of pressure with be on QB
Christian Ponder and the rest of the Noles offensive backfield to make plays. The rest of the offense will outperform nearly anyone they are matched up with as the WR core and OL are both deep. On defense the DBs will be counted on for a little bit of everything, and they get two great early season tests with a visit from Michigan and coach Sammy, and a trip to play the TCU and the always dangerous coach LytezOut. Championships have not been norm in Tallahassee recently, but they are hungry and the pieces are coming together.
