After a week one victory against the Kent State Golden Flashes Wyoming sits at 1-0, and goes to take on the 2-0 South Carolina Gamecocks. The SEC powerhouse looks tough off the bat, beating opponents with easy, and Wyoming knows they will be a big underdog. "I think we have a chance next weekend" said Coach Green, who comes into his 3th season with a 31-42 record in his career, still looking for the statement season to rise him to a power conference and be successful. " We know it will be a big upset, but we won't even buy into that stuff, we will just go out and play Wyoming football" Coach Green added. Wyoming didn't play all that well against Kent State, but got a few lucky breaks, and the score shows a close game. Wyomings defense will be the struggle, has a C+ defense will take on a high powered offense, and that will be what to watch for.
The Wyoming offense is lead by Austyn Carta-Samuels, who throws the ball well, and has 5 recievers that are all great runners after the catch. Freshman QB Emory Miller Jr gives the Cowboys a good look as a run pass option. He could be a potential game changer as the season moves on.
