Wow, what a matchup in round 1. Mich St has proven to be a top team under coach Weasel but i think Lytez Out and the Tigers will be a surprise team this season. Should be one of the better round 1 matchups in the NDL Cup. I'd feel more comfortable picking Clemson if this game was a few weeks down the road when he's had some experience with them, but he's been a winner at TCU and i think Lytez will continue his winning ways with a big cup win. prediction Clemson 21 Mich St 20

Another good matchup between two coaches who had successful seasons at low/mid level schools. FSU has the superior talent but USF is no scrub team. This game could be closer than people think but unless FSU turns the ball over, i think they should have enough to win this game. Always hard to call a game with coaches playing with new teams so i'll defer to the talent. prediction FSU 30 USF 21

Phreakk had some success last season with a lower level team and is taking on a team that has some talent in Maryland but facing a team with a veteran coach that knows his team is going to be a tough challenge in his first game on the Maryland sidelines. This game is a true toss up but i'll lean towards Indiana simply due to Peay's experience with them. prediction Indiana 31 Maryland 28

Holmey is one of the most underrated coaches in the league. He plays a style of play that keeps him in the game and if you mess up he will make you pay. Facing off against a new comer 15 year old who is young, dumb and full of cum i suspect he'll be able to play mind games and force Kansas into a lot of mistakes. prediction NC St 17 Kansas 0

Block had success at Michigan, lets see if that can continue with a lower level BCS team like Wake Forest. He has the skills to keep the Demon Decons in games they are out talented in. WJ has been a solid coach for a long time, but has been just average in ND. I'm suspecting an upset here for the Deamon Decons as they look to make a name for themselves in the ACC. prediction Wake 22 ND 14

Two gross football schools match up in round 1. Rutgers plays the no-huddle offense that could give an unsuspecting team some fits. Duke has a chance to keep this one close but i think Sanu may be too much for the Blue Devils to handle. prediction Rutgers 14 Duke 10

An under the radar good matchup i'm looking forward to seeing in round 1. Oracle has been an above average coach at UNC thus far and Seeit has some skills but is now at Fresno. I think we might see a close game here before a pick 6 seals it for the Tar Heels. I wouldn't be shocked to see this go either way. prediction UNC 24 Fresno 17

A matchup of future ACC rivals. Pitt is the superior team and i think theniddler will be looking to prove that he can do what Doc could do at Pitt last season. While i don't think he's going to bring Pitt into Doc-level, i think he'll do enough to knock off Gambit and the hoos. prediction Pitt 17 Virginia 7

Pimpin is one of the best in the league and has a great team. He's facing a good TCU team... but pimpin is used to playing a tough schedule so i don't think this will be much of a challenge for him. I look for VT to roll and have a big season just as people start to sleep on them a little. prediction VT 35 TCU 14
