Pitt comes out flat in 1st half and puts the Golden Panthers away in the 2nd
Pitt used 4 running backs to control the clock and get the win in the Bronx. Last year Pitt was embarrassed and out coached by Nebraska. this one could have been different had FIU QB not missed so many wide open receivers. Pitt used Dion Lewis and every back Pitt has to control the clock and take over the 2nd half.
"We got lucky Pronger over threw a lot today and every overthrow was to a wide open WR. Fiu played real tough in the 1st half and fought the 2nd half but with so many 3 and outs and deflated an inspired defense. We have much respect for Coach Nasty and he brought his guys in ready to play. FIU or not when he comes into a game he is always in it. We will enjoy this win and if its me or someone else Pitt will be ready to shine next season."
Rumor is coach wants out but it could be just smoke to get a new deal. Rumor has him going out west if the deal is right? This would be a shock to the whole program.
