With Season 20 coming to an end, the Big East is still undecided and this could be the biggest game of the year for these teams. Pitt is 7-3 on the season, but are 5-0 in the Big East and looking for their first conference title since Season 15. #12 Cincinnati comes in 8-1 and 4-0 in the Big East, looking to win their second Conference Championship in 3 seasons. Coach doc1424 is in his fourth season at Pitt. In his first three years Pitt has made it to 3 bowls, but have only been able to win one of those. UCWeiser is in his ninth season with Cincinnati and is 73-32 in that span. With a Conference Championship in Season 18, the Bearcats are just 3-5 in bowl games under Coach Weiser.
Keys of the Game:
Pitt leads the Conference in total offense averaging over 400 yards per game. Dion Lewis is the ground attacker for the Panthers averaging 106 yards per game. Pat Bostic comes into the game with 2900 yards through the air and 24 touchdown passes.
Cincinnati is just behind Pitt in total offense and are also averaging over 400 yards per game. Isaiah Pead has over 1000 yards on the ground and hasn't fumbled all year. Zach Collaros has thrown for over 2400 yards and has a 4-1 TD to INT ration.
Prediction:
Well this is a big game so I expect both coaches to be focused. Also having seen each other a few times over the years they will know each others tendencies. The only difference is Cincinnati seems to play a little better defense, but its not by much. I'm going to say that doc1424 is going to some how pull this one out 34-31 Pitt
